Idaho has its storied vacation spots: The lakes of the north, the high central mountains, the Tetons of the east. But Southern Idaho? Even a lot of natives aren’t familiar with it. Southern Idaho Tourism’s campaign shows them what they’re missing.

As the agency of record, Carew Co has revamped Southern Idaho Tourism’s brand strategy, website, and launched an advertising campaign, Authentic Idaho, across print, radio, broadcast, billboards, and online banners. The website redesign takes every opportunity to engage with readers and give them the tools (travel itineraries, adventure guides, and email newsletters) they need to take advantage of the region’s spectacular natural features, charming towns, and daring sporting opportunities.

We manage content marketing and lead generation for the organization, which extends to managing social media channels and the brand’s blog. We mine valuable leads and prospect information from Southern Idaho Tourism’s new landing page. Using inbound marketing, we’ve established an intelligent customer database that can be segmented and monitored based on every interaction with the brand on social channels, the website, or email marketing campaigns. That information helps us create targeted marketing tactics and build useful, relevant email blasts and special offers.

Although the campaign has been in place for less than half a year, website traffic has skyrocketed, social audiences are growing at a high rate of speed, leads are being generated, and hotel bookings have increased in advance of the important summer season.
